come visit Carriacou discover the joys and hidden treasures

Grenada Cruise Boat Carriacou
Carriacou, is hilly but not mountainous. With smoother terrain, Carriacou is an ideal destination for walking. It possesses fine sand beaches and natural harbours, as well as excellent views of the northern Grenadine islands.
Carriacou's coastline is mostly wave-cut coral or shoal formations. Manchineel Bay and Carenage Bay near Harvey Vale have some small beach areas, spectacular because they are volcanic black sand beaches. By contrast Anse La Roche and Hillsborough Bay are white coral sand beaches.
With a name that means “Land of the Reefs” in Carib, Carriacou, Grenada’s charming sister island, is a treasure waiting to be explored. Carriacou, an English-speaking island, is located 23 miles northeast of Grenada. It is seven miles long and is the largest of the Grenadines. The climate here is substantially drier than the other islands with rainfall averages at only 40 to 60 inches per year
